ADU Accessory Dwelling Units

When Sam’s parents moved back to St. Louis after 20 years in Chicago, he knew he had to find a way to help them generate passive income for retirement. That’s when the idea for the AirBnB Cottage came to life.

The Coffey Shop built and designed the cottage from the ground up, pouring in plenty of love, sweat, and creativity. The result is a space that blends rustic charm with thoughtful craftsmanship.

The project features old-growth, reclaimed Long Leaf Pine exposed beams, a fully restored 1942 Crosley Shelvador fridge, and stunning windows that bathe the entire space in warm, natural light. It’s a cozy retreat that’s as functional as it is beautiful.

Sorrel Primary Suite Addition

Beth and Matt have called their Richmond Heights home for decades. They love their neighborhood and the strong sense of community—but like many longtime homeowners, they had simply outgrown their space.

When they came to The Coffey Shop, their goal was straightforward: they needed a larger bedroom. What began as a single-room project quickly grew into a full second-story renovation and addition. The transformation included a spacious new primary suite complete with a walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom, upstairs laundry, and an additional guest bathroom.

The result? A home that not only meets their needs today but will continue to serve them for years to come. Beth and Matt are thrilled with their new space and look forward to enjoying the comfort and functionality of their forever home.
